UPDATE: International flights suspended until 14 April 2020

Hello travellers;

As you are all well aware, the world is currently cooperatively fighting a fast-spreading pandemic. Part of this effort involves a reduction of travel to reduce the transmission and spread of the pathogen known as SARS-CoV-2 or COVID-19.

As a result, the Egyptian government has suspended all international air traffic from all Egyptian airports effective 12:00pm Thursday, March 19th until Tuesday, March 31st 2020. This means that all of our flights during these dates have been cancelled and any bookings for travel must be cancelled or rescheduled.

Update as of 24/03/20: Egyptian authorities have extended the flight suspension to 14 April, 2020.

Important Notice for travellers flying to Jordan effective March 12th, 2020

According to the instruction by the Ministry of Interior in Jordan, tracvellers of any nationality who have been in Egypt are not allowed to transit or enter Jordan.

This decision does not apply to Jordanian nationals, their spouses and their children, traveling to Jordan from Egypt. Upon arrival to Jordan, these passengers will be subject to clinical evaluation and any other health procedures required by the Jordanian Ministry of Health.

Temporary Suspension of flights to Saudi Arabia effective March 8th 2020

According to new instruction by authorities of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, starting from March 8th all incoming flights to and from all Saudi Arabia airports are temporarily suspended for the following countries: UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, Lebanon, Egypt, Syria, Iraq, Italy, Korea.

Important Notice for Passengers flying to Saudi Arabia Effective March 7, 2020

According to the instruction by the health authorities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, all passengers travelling from or through any of the airports of Egypt to Saudi Arabia from the 7th of March, 2020 are required to:

Present a completed medical examinations (polymerase chain reaction or PCR certificate) confirming that they are free from the coronavirus before boarding. Certificates are issued by health centers and approved laboratories approved by the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Cairo and need to be issued within 24 hours before boarding.

Unfortunately, we will be unable to allow boarding for passengers without a valid PCR certificate.

Passengers with a valid PCR certificate will also be required to complete a health declaration form, to be handed over to immigration officials at the port of entry in Saudi Arabia. You can download a copy of the health declaration form here.

Temporary Suspension of flights to Kuwait effective March 6th 2020

According to new instruction by authorities of the State of Kuwait, all incoming flights to and from Kuwait International Airport are temporarily suspended for the following countries (Bangladesh, Philippines, India, Sri Lanka, Syria, Lebanon, Egypt) starting from March 6th for one week.

All arrivals in the State of Kuwait from any nationaility who have a valid residency or previous entry visa, as well as those from other airports who were present in the countries mentionied above during the past two weeks are prohibited from entry.

Citizens of the State of Kuwait coming from these countries are allowed to enter, provided that the necessary quarantine procedures are applied to them.
